Description and Responsibilities:
As the Vice General Manager of our India office, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and administrative functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office. Your primary duties will include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the office budget, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with local regulations, developing and implementing strategic plans, and managing key client relationships to drive business growth in the Industrial line business such as Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas Field, Industrial Equipment, Chemical materials.
1. Strategic Planning:
- Associating with top management, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company’s long-term goals in India Market.
- Stay informed about TIC industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Innovating solutions to overcome challenges.
2. Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business operations in the region.
3. Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage the office budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
- Analyze financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability.
4. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence in India and South Aisa regions.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Manage key client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address client concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments and with the head office in China.
- Coach sales managers for sales management and monitor their management performance.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (other backgrounds are also welcome to apply)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a managerial role within the inspection services industry, international trading company or a related sector in Industries like Renewable Energy, Industrial Equipmetn, Chemical materials. TIC industry will be preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operations and leading teams in a multinational environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.

Compensation:
