EU (RAPEX)
In Dec. 2022, the EU recalled 217 products in 20 categories. The most recalled products corresponded to three categories – Toys(46), Cosmetics(39), Clothing, textiles and fashion items(31). Most of the recalled products came from China (98). And the main risks were chemical(70) and injuries(37). The chart on the right shows the breakdown per product category.
USA (CPSC)
In Dec. 2022, the US recalled 33 products in 7 categories. The most recalled products corresponded to 2 categories – Household Supplies(10), Electrical appliances and equipment(9). Most of the recalled products came from the China (16). And the main risk were fire hazard(7), choking hazard(4). The chart on the right shows the breakdown per product category.
